Casino staff in pay ballot

Two hundred casino workers are being balloted in Glasgow on an industrial action for the second time in the past two months.

The casino workers, all from the city branch of Stanley Casinos on Sauchiehall Street, have previously rejected a pay rise of 3.2% in June.

The company’s latest offer was an increase of 3.5% or £600, whichever is greater to all staff. For those staff members at the lowest pay scales, this represents a 5.8% rise.
